Complore is all about helping you manage your studies. It’s a resource designed to help you find, share and keep track of information that you find online. Although it was designed with academic research in mind, Complore can be used to save any sites you often visit online.

You can download for free a Complore button that goes on your browser. When you click on this, it automatically saves whatever page you’re looking at. Then, you can go back and tag it with whatever keywords you think will be useful later when you go to find it.

Blinkbits

Blinkbits has a high purpose: to “share the collective wisdom of all mankind.” Sound grandiose? Maybe, but you have to admit that the internet is filled with all kinds of wisdom. That, and spam. But, the wisdom is what’s important for Blinkbits.

Blinkbits is all user-created and edited, and is focused on information. Think of it as a giant online encyclopedia, created by everyday people with certain interests. Users share their “wisdom” with others and a community is created where ideas can be exchanged.

My Web

Yahoo has its own social bookmarking site called My Web. You can use Yahoo My Web to keep your bookmarks organized, share them with other users and friend on Yahoo, and find out what other people are checking out.

You can download a Yahoo toolbar to use whenever you are online. Or, you can use bookmarklets with your regular web browser like Firefox or Internet Explorer. This makes it easy to click on the button and save the link to your Yahoo My Web account.

With Yahoo My Web you can export or import bookmarks easily. It recognizes bookmarks from lots of different sources, like your regular browser or other social bookmarking sites like de.lici.ous.

Yahoo gives you your own page complete with a blog. It’s called a My Web Badge and you can customize its features to suit your needs.

If you have a Yahoo e-mail account you are already signed up to use Yahoo My Web. You just have to go through a quick set-up.

Furl

http://www.furl.net/ is designed for you to save webpages. Basically, whenever you’ve found yourself saying, “What was that article I read about…?” you can look it up on your Furl page and find it quickly. It offers 5 gigabytes for your personal website archive, and even if the article is taken off the Web, you’ll still have on your Furl page.

Like other social bookmarking sites, Furl lets you share and see what others are reading. You can subscribe to your friends’ picks, or get an RSS feed to keep up with what’s new. The front page shows you the most popular, or most “furled,” articles.

Technorati Tags plug-in video

Here’s a video showing you how to install a plug-in called “simple Tags” which is for wordpress. It’s being used on this blog.

Simple tags plug-in is what it says, simple. But it does the job well and takes less than two minutes to install.

These are some of the weird and often funny stories you’ll see on Fark. Fark is a kind of “news of the weird,” or in many cases just plain stupid, website. The categories for news stories are things like Stupid, Dumbass, Unlikely, Strange and Asinine.
