TagTooga

You just can’t make an account any easier than with TagTooga; they make the account for the you the minute you first check out the page. TagTooga creates an account using your IP address, so you can start editing content even before you register. That’s got to be a world record!

You don’t have to keep the account, of course, You can simply “log out” and then “register,” and TagTooga will register you like any other social bookmarking site.

Basically, you look at sites and with the sites you want, you click on a little pencil icon to “edit” them. This “claims” the site, adding your personal profile to the site. Claiming sites is how you add them to TagTooga.

TagTooga couldn’t make things simpler; if you like a website, click on the little happy face icon. If you find something that is spam, you click on the little frowny face. The whole system uses cutesy little icons, so there’s no complicated terminology here!

If you’re a Myspace user, TagTooga has some special features for you. TagTooga allows you to import almost your whole Myspace profile. This means that everything you have saved there, including your profile, friends and bookmarks, can be instantly put into TagTooga. With TagTooga, you already have your profile made!

TagTooga uses tags and RSS feeds like every other social bookmarking site. You can keep your selected pages private or public, but the point of TagTooga is to share sites so everybody can comment on them.

The front page of TagTooga shows you “recent tags” and “hot tags.” The recent tags are listed by category first, and site subject second. All kinds of topics are represented here. TagTooga especially likes entertainment-oriented stuff. Sites about movies, music, clothes, shopping and other fun stuff rates high on TagTooga.

There is a special section for financial and news tags. Here you’ll find a separate category for sites that relate to money and news.

TagTooga allows you to rate, save and share sites, and also send messages to other users. The second you first open the site, you already have a message inbox. The site hooks you up with an account instantly, whether you like it or not.

TagTooga is totally democratic, so there is no limit to what you can submit. But, votes count. If you throw some blatant spam on TagTooga, other users are going to hit it with some frowny faces and you’re not going to get any hits.
