One of the most frustrating things for online businesspeople
is that there are only 24 hours a day…

I’m sure some mad Internet scientist somewhere is working
on a new program that will double the length
of each day to 48 hours, but…

Current indications are that we’re stuck with the
daily limit of 24 hours for the foreseeable future…

So the truth is, in order to succeed online, you have

Everybody knows about Netscape, but you probably didn’t know that Netscape has their own social bookmarking site. It’s part of the “new Netscape.” The service has RSS feeds, voting, and media options where you can have a video from Netscape’s server stream through your website. Like other social bookmarking sites, you can share your favorite stories with other like-minded people.

Spurl for social bookmark traffic

Spurl is a social bookmarking site whose stated purpose is to help you keep from losing your work. You can keep track of all the sites you’ve looked at in one easily accessible place, where computer crashes and other catastrophes can’t get to them. Spurl has all the regular features of social bookmarking sites, including a feature that automatically uploads all the bookmarks that are stored on your computer.

Spurl’s “about” page has a website calculator that tells you how many sites you’ve looked at in your life. You enter in the date you started using the internet, how many sites you look at each day, and how long you spend on each site, and it tells you how much work you’ve done online. Even if you’re not interested in using Spurl, it’s kind of weird to try the calculator!

Unalog

Unalog is a social bookmarking site where users can create an account, save their favorite sites, and see what other people are saving. Your account can be public or private, and various search features help you sift through the web to find other sites you might like.

Unalog’s creators haven’t worked too hard to make it very flashy or exciting. The colors are white and grey, and everything is presented in a list that scrolls down. The front page lists the most recently added links in descending order starting with today. There doesn’t seem to be any rating system. Unalog doesn’t have a “most popular” page.
