Here’s a video showing you how to install a plug-in called “simple Tags” which is for wordpress. It’s being used on this blog.

Simple tags plug-in is what it says, simple. But it does the job well and takes less than two minutes to install.

Fark

These are some of the weird and often funny stories you’ll see on Fark. Fark is a kind of “news of the weird,” or in many cases just plain stupid, website. The categories for news stories are things like Stupid, Dumbass, Unlikely, Strange and Asinine.

Digg

Digg says that it’s a totally democratic service. Users not only create the content, but can boost its numbers by “Digging” it. If you see something you like on Digg, you “digg” it and the more a story is dugg, the higher up it goes.

On the other hand, if you see something you don’t like, you can “bury” it. If something gets buried enough, it disappears. Actually, it can still be seen on the profiles of people who dugg it, but it’s not on the main page anymore. You also have the option to comment on anything you see on Digg, and you can “undigg” something you dugg, if you change your mind.

Linkroll

Linkroll is a free service that allows you to draw links back to your blog. If you’re business is blogging, Linkroll is a great way to direct traffic back to your blog site.

It also allows you to check out other peoples’ blogs, save the blogs you like and create your own personalized page for easy access to your favorites. Linkroll offers RSS feeds so that you can keep up to date with what others are blogging.

A new feature on Linkroll allows any user to create their own podcasts. These podcasts use mp3 format and are very user friendly. You can do your own podcast, or you can do a podcast as a group on a certain topic of interest to everyone.

Blogmemes

Blogmemes is a site for “transmission of cultural units,” which they have termed “memes.” It sounds complicated, but a meme is just a submitted link to a blog site, with tags, descriptions, trackbacks and anything else.

The site ranks entries and puts the best links at the top of the front page. Things that will get you on the front page include lots of comments, lots of views, lots of votes, and how recently the link was submitted. Blogmemes is totally democratic, and they let users decide what will go at the top.
